That brings the total number of deaths in the province to 114 and the total number of cases to 6,017. The number of people listed as recovered was 3,809, well above the number of active cases, 2,094. That brings case total number of deaths to 112 and the total number of cases in the province to 5,963, with 3,552 of those listed as recovered. The number of active cases has steadily declined over the past three days, with 2,790 on Monday, 2,568 on Tuesday and 2,299 on Wednesday. At present, 82 people are in hospital being treated for the illness, including 19 who are in intensive-care units.
