High Prairie RCMP issue arrest warrants in fatal Atikameg shooting
Blake Anderson, 21, of Slave Lake, and 24-year-old Atikameg resident Patrick Letendre are wanted on a charge of second-degree murder stemming from a Jan. 14 incident and are considered to be dangerous and possibly armed. SUPPLIED / EDMONTON High Prairie RCMP have arrested a woman and are searching for two wanted men after a 32-year-old man was shot dead in northern Alberta. On Jan. 14, officers were responding to reports of shots fired outside a house in Atikameg when they discovered the body of Jeff Gladue. Ivy Laboucan, 40, of Atikameg has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in relation to the shooting. Laboucan is to appear in High Prairie court on Jan. 23. Police have also issued arrest warrants for two Alberta men wanted in connection to the fatal shooting. Blake Anderson, 21, of Slave Lake, and Patrick Letendre, 24, of Atikameg, are considered to be dangerous and possibly armed. Police warn anyone who may see the two men not to approach them but to call 911 or police immediately. Atikameg is about 300 kilometres northwest of Edmonton. |
