埃德蒙頓拉丁節(ELF)是埃德蒙頓最熱鬧的節日之一。為期兩天戶外活動，充滿激情，充滿活力。節日期間，音樂藝術和舞蹈表演只是其中的一些亮點，美味正宗的拉丁美食館，啤酒花園，更是節日不可缺少的重要部分。

Join us for the traditional Blessing of the Boats on Friday evening at Louise McKinney Park docks.
The racing begins Friday evening with the Novice Cup races where novice teams will experience their first dragon boat race! This is a great evening for family, friends, non-paddlers and paddlers of all ages and skill levels to unite and join together in celebration of this ancient sport.
星期六：
The recreational semi-competitive races commence on Saturday morning. The race schedule is randomly drawn with teams racing three lanes across the river for 500 meters. The festival’s cultural opening ceremonies will be held at at the main stage. The opening ceremonies will featuring taiko drums and a Chinese lion dance among other cultural entertainment. Racing resumes with competitive races following the opening ceremonies.

The competitive spirit ‘Rips up the River’! The combined race times from Saturday’s results determine Sunday’s schedule. The competitive spirit rises on Sunday! Teams unite with their coaches and steers personal to focus on what skill it will take to win the gold medal.
On Sunday afternoon, the final category races draw a crowd of spectators and comrades anxious to cheer their favourite team! The final races conclude with a medal and trophy presentation ceremony.

Bison were nearly lost from North America! But by the early 20th century, bison purchased from Montana and brought to Elk Island National Park began to slowly re-build their numbers. Today nearly every plains bison you see in southern Canada, whether in conservation or domestic herds, had an ancestor in Elk Island National Park. That’s something to celebrate! Join us for this sensory festival celebrating all things bison, from conservation, to culture, to cuisine! Details.
